Standard racks of scaffolding have a width of 1.06 m. This width (depth of scaffolding) is usually sufficient if the building is built according to the norms. But when the building is very dense and the distance from the fence to the wall is less than 1 meter - standard scaffolding can not be intall.
NARROW RACKS OF SCAFFOLDS are 0.69 m wide !!! In this case, only narrow scaffolds will help you. And here's why, see:
Scheme of installation and difference of standard and narrow frame scaffolding.
Structurally, both the assembly scheme looks almost the same: the frame - it is the rack, the rack are connected horizontals and diagonals. They are fixed with flag locks. The basis for the racks (frames) are supporting heels or jacks . The base can also be the previous tier racks . For this, there are corresponding pinson the racks at the top . Those racks are put on racks (pipe to pipe method). And in the figure to the left and to the right on the diagrams are shown the racks and the racks with the stairs. In fact, on both sides there can be both walkways and both stairs. It all depends on the required functionality and priorities.
If you need the convenience of passing through the tier of scaffolding, then choose the rack-walk-through , if in the right place the workers need to climb to the desired height - the rack-stairs. If it is necessary to ensure the installation step of the flooring is 0.5m or 1m , for example, for brick cladding or brickwork, then all the staircase racks should be installed.
There are only two differences between standard frame and narrow frame scaffolds:
Type of flooring: bolts + boards or boards. On standard scaffolding, we offer a choice of flooring: either two bolts and two shields per cage, or 50x220x4 m boards, two pieces per cage instead of rigs and shields.
Width of racks: 1,06 m or 0,69 m. On narrow scaffolds only flooring boards. And the other can not be.
Narrow scaffolds are not so stable, so they need to be fixed to the wall already from a height of 6m, builders even advise from 4m . When installing narrow scaffolding, use the same anchoring to the wall : gripping pipes with a hook and pivoting or not turning collars .
